H & G Strategic Communications Sdn. Bhd. is pleased to present the WUPID Debate Series, a public debate event aimed to create awareness on the World Universities Peace Invitational Debate (WUPID) and increase the understanding of the public on related issues concerning the world, whilst highlighting the potential contribution of debating towards the development of Malaysia. The WUPID Debate Series, which will be a monthly affair, is participated by four univeristy student and four key opinion leaders / celebrities.
The timing of this event coincides with the Press Conference of WUPID 2011, in which the event has recently appointed a Peace Ambassador – Dato’ Mukhriz Mahathir, to better impact peace innitiatives and efforts globally. Dato’ Mukhriz’s involvement reflects the transformation journey as well as demonstrating WUPID’s contribution to global peace, especially since the debaters have been delivering 4 days worth of arguments related to various peace issues.
The inaugural debate series will be featuring some very familiar faces in Malaysian competitive debating. It will also be featuring a father and son partnership – Omar and Rafik. In addition to the line-up, the inaugural debate series is showcased upon a remarkable set design which is sponsored by KS Entourage.
