USA National Debate Coaches Association Annual Awards

The National Debate Coaches Association has officially begun its awards season. Please note there are changes to some of our awards

1. EDUCATOR OF THE YEAR -
We are now accepting nominations. Please fill out the form at -

The NDCA Awards committee will stop accepting nominations on Saturday, March 30th at midnight CST and produce a final slate for voting.

2. TOURNAMENT HOST OF THE YEAR -
New this year - this award is now democratically decided. The NDCA hopes to recognize a tournament that provides high quality competition and hospitality. In order to be eligible, at least one affiliated coach must be a NDCA member. To nominate a tournament, please fill out the form at -

3. RISING STAR -
The NDCA will again honor a rising star in our community. The honoree must a full-time employee of a school and be in their first FIVE years of coaching debate in a full-time capacity. The honoree must further be a current NDCA member. Although the NDCA Board will decide this winner, please feel free to send suggestions to Nicole.Serrano@gmail.com by Saturday, March 30th at midnight CST

4. SERVICE AWARD -
The NDCA Board will again recognize an individual who has provided outstanding service to the NDCA.
