Team Singapore defeated Team Slovenia in the final round of the WSDC-NFL Five Nation tournament held at NFL nationals in Birmingham, Alabama. The final round was watched (and enjoyed) by over 3000 people.
Team Singapore consisted of Tan Kuon Hian, Lee Chin Wee and Etsuko Lim. Team Slovenia consisted of Denis Horvat, Jure Hederih and Ziva Antolin. The decision was 3-0.
Jure Hederih of Slovenia was the top speaker.
Team Canada was supposed to be in the finals against Slovenia but had a conflicting air conection that made debating in the finals impossible.
