Calvin Coolidge Presidential Foundation 2015 New York Gala Dinner by Calvin Coolidge Presidential Foundation The Coolidge Foundation's 2015 New York Gala Dinner, featuring keynote remarks by Mitch Daniels, former Indiana Governor and current President of Purdue University. Additional luminaries featured at the gala include News Commentator Larry Kudlow; Wendell L. Willkie, II, grandson of 1940 GOP presidential candidate Wendell L. Willkie; Amity Shlaes, chairman of the Coolidge Foundation and Calvin Coolidge biographer; and members of the USA Debate Team, who debated the Common Core Education Standards. On that evening the Foundation also launched its Coolidge Scholars program and awarded the 2015 Coolidge Prize for Journalism and the 2015 Calvin Prize for Vermont Youth.
