Elliott Memorial Tournament Dear Alfred, Can you think of a better way to start 2013 then with a debate tournament? We sure can't! The Brett L. Elliott Memorial Tournament was held at Jack Yates High School on January 18 & 19 and 330 students participated. This special tournament is named in honor of Mr. Elliott, a well-respected communicator in Houston, who was tragically taken in 2009. This tournament is a way to give students the opportunity to continue experiencing the transformational power of debate in his honor. We would also like to thank Mr. Percy Creuzot III of Frenchy's Sausage Co, Ms. Angele Creuzot of Creuzo' Cuizine, and their community sponsors for generously donating all the food and beverages for the tournament. We appreciate their generosity and definitely enjoyed the delicious meals! Thank you for your support! CONGRATULATIONS!
