EurOpen schools debating championship from 7-13 NOV 2013

Dear global debating community

Debating Society Germany invites all of you to participate in the 17th edition of our EurOpen schools debating championship from 7-13 NOV 2013 in Stuttgart, Germany.

We're looking forward to international high-level WSDC debating with teams from all over the world. Recent participants include school teams, as well as national delegations from Canada, Turkey, Israel, South Korea, The Netherlands, Czech Republic, Romania, Ukraine and many more.

This year, all teams will debate two prepared motions on both sides (PROP and OPP) plus four impromptu rounds until breaking into octo-finals. The prepared motions are:

Motion A: THW prohibit the sale of goods produced under conditions which harm the workers or put them at avoidable risk (Rds 2 and 7)

Motion B: THBT the European Union did not deserve the Nobel Peace Prize (Rds 4 and 8)
