Team USA Announced for WSDC 2014 Thailand






WSDC Team USA is a cooperative venture between the National Forensic League and the World Debate Institute

NATIONAL FORENSIC LEAGUE ANNOUNCES WORLD SCHOOLS DEBATE TEAM

RIPON, Wis. (December 20, 2013) – From more than 130,000 student members of the National Forensic League, nine students have been selected to the prestigious 2014 World Schools Debate Team.
"These students will represent our country in World Schools Debate," said Scott Wunn, Executive Director of the National Forensic League. "This is an outstanding accomplishment and we're extremely excited to see each student bring their unique skill set to the stage."
The American team is composed of nine students from across the country. Together they will compete in a series of global debate competitions across the globe from Canada and Slovenia to Thailand and beyond.

World Schools style debate features a dynamic format combining the concepts of "prepared" topics with "impromptu" topics, encouraging debaters to focus on specified issues rather than debate theory or procedural arguments.
